Our process

How we approach the job

01

Spec & sample

We agree brick type, bond, joint profile and mortar colour — and lay a small sample panel where it helps.

02

Foundations & DPC

Substructure checked, damp-proof course set correctly, levels established before a single brick goes up.

03

Lay to gauge

Coursing built to gauge with consistent perp joints, ties, weeps and movement joints where required.

04

Point & finish

Joints finished to the agreed profile, brickwork brushed down, site cleared and handed over clean.

FAQ

New Brickwork & Bricklaying — your questions

Not at all. We lay plenty of new brickwork — extensions, garden walls, piers, outbuildings and new builds. The same care that goes into a Victorian repoint goes into modern work.
